MORI SEIKI SL-6 Upgraded

We finally upgraded our 1980 vintage MORI SEIKI SL-6 CNC turning center with modern controls. We also took the time to refurbish the original DC motor and replace the motor controller with modern technology.

We decided to upgrade instead of replace because the machine has good mechanical parts, lots of power, a full set of tools and holders and a large through spindle bore at 6" diameter. To replace with similar capabilities would have cost more.

If you have large turned parts made from steels or harder materials, we have the machine for the job.
